For over 75 years, Kool-Aid® has provided smiles for millions of thirsty folks all over the world.
A drink available in a variety of flavors, mixed as a powder with water and sometimes sugar. Anyone growing up knows that Kool-Aid® is not described by flavor, but by color, with the exception of grape.
Do you like Kool-Aid®? What are your favorites? Do you like the smell of Kool-Aid. Have you ever made Kool-Aid with-out the aid of an adult? I like Kool-Aid® because it is easy to make and tastes good. Its better for you than soda. Is that true? I don't know? I will always think of this drink as the wholesome American drink I grew up with.
The Kool-Aid® Poem:

Yaaayyyyy for Kool-Aid!
Kool-Aid® is/has been in the news. I have found a few Websites Here:
“A Kool-Aid drinker” has had some negative connotations;
1) Derived from the 60’s drug culture when hippies would drop acid in their Kool Aid. A Liberal who is delusional in their beliefs. huh? The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test is a work of literary journalism by Tom Wolfe, published in 1968.
2) Someone who believes what they are told without thinking for themselves. From the followers of Jim Jones in Guyana who committed suicide by drinking poisoned Kool-Aid.
3) A slur pertaining to poor people.

I read about this "News" at Cleveland Leader:
History of Kool-Aid®:
Kool-Aid—a name simple but catchy, a product unprepossessing but salable. Today, a household word for millions. The Kool-Aid story is the American dream come true, the classic tale of a young man with brains, imagination, a strong work ethic and merchandising ability who was able to parlay a few simple chemicals into a multi-million dollar business—rising from sodhouse to mansion in one lifetime.
Kool-Aid Man officially was created in 1975, the same year disposable razors were introduced and catalytic converters were placed on cars. But, his smiling face and pitcher physique have been around far longer. Pitcher man, as he was called before 1975, was created in 1954 by Marvin Potts, an art director for a New York-based advertising agency.
