Do you like studio tours? I know I do. Like to see what other artist's are doing and how their studios are set up. All shapes and sizes, great and small.
My Studio. I plan/hope to do a little remodeling or changing, (no sure which will happen). As you can see the walls are ready for tape & floating, texture, paint, etc. So what better time to document the before and after, and how long will it take? Disclaimer: These pictures were digitally enhanced and altered by me, they were sorta dark. Plus, I was trying to capture a mood, the feel. The time of day was late afternoon, sun setting over the trees across the lake. To see more accurate color of the paintings on these walls see/refer to one of my websites. The colors are accurate on these sites; haneyart.com or here at one of the galleries...
These pix were taken Mid-June, 09. The Texas sun heats up the back porch on most days to the mid-90's. Of course its a bit warmer in the direct sun. I like the shade most of all. The Studio's back porch catches the south easterly breeze most days and funnels in and thru to the front door. Sorta nice. We will do a walk about entry to exit, all with commentary and notes on the pix for quick reference. A 360 degree view. First pic, you have stepped thru the front door in facing East.
Thanks for stopping by, ya'll come back. john...
